Victoria Falls Tours & Safaris

At more than twice the height of Niagara Falls, Victoria Falls is a UNESCO world heritage site and 7th wonder of the world. It is situated on the mighty Zambezi river in the heart of Southern Africa, close to many iconic game reserves like Chobe and Hwange National Parks. Traditionally known as Mosi-oa-Tunya or ‘the Smoke that Thunders’, Victoria Falls is often the end point of a Southern African safari tour.

Victoria Falls is known as Africa’s Adventure Capital. Besides touring the Falls on foot, you can also get a birds eye view from a helicopter or microlight. This experience is nicknamed the ‘Flight of Angels’. David Livingstone famously wrote on seeing the Victoria Falls for the first time in 1855 that “Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight”.

The mighty Zambezi River produces the best white water rafting in the world. Its electrifying, scary and adrenaline-fuelled.

Straddled between Zambia and Zimbabwe is the historic Victoria Falls bridge. The Victoria Falls Bungee Jump is undoubtedly the most scenic bungee jump in the world. With the falls as your backdrop, and the Zambezi River flowing beneath you, this is sure to be the greatest bungee jump of your life.

Right on the very edge of the Falls is Devils Pool, with a sheer drop and close up and personal view of the side of the falls – indeed a top bucket list experience.

Victoria Falls village has some excellent African restaurants where you get to taste cuisine from all over the continent. Partake in interactive drumming and dine to traditional song and dance. There’s plenty of shopping for curios and other fascinating things at markets in town. Or simply relax and enjoy the sunshine after a hard day of pure fun and safari.

Victoria Falls Tours & Safaris

Zambezi National Park is only a 10 minute drive from town, it is really impressive, home to scenic landscapes, the Big Five, wild dog, hippos, cheetah, crocodiles, giraffe and over 500 bird species. Wildlife is surprisingly easy to spot, especially along the Zambezi River. For more of a wilderness experience without the sound of cars, you can partake in walking safaris with a professional guide or explore the park on a horseback safari.

Chobe National Park in Botswana is only an hour away, we can organise a full day safari into this great park where you spend 3 to 4 hours on a 4×4 safari with a professional ranger. The Chobe National Park is world famous for its huge herd of elephants, buffalo, wild dog and big cats unmatched anywhere else in the world. After a hearty lunch on the banks of the Chobe river you debark on a safari river cruise and experience nature at its best – the river, the animals and the sunset!

Here you’ll get up close and personal with hippo, crocodile and a mind-boggling array of water birds. You can see massive herds of Elephant and Buffalo as they converge along waterfront and cross the mighty Chobe river.

Hwange National Park is also a day trip from Victoria Falls. This iconic reserve is Zimbabwe’s greatest and largest, with thriving wildlife and beautiful scenery.
