Day 1-3
Ponta Do Ouro Mozambique
You will be met at Maputo International Airport and road transferred to the O Lar Do Ouro Guest Lodge in Ponta do Ouro. On route you cross over Maputo bay on the Katembe Suspension Bridge the longest in Africa, The trip to Ponta do Ouro is 90 minutes. You will drive through diverse countryside skirting the Maputo Special Reserve Elephant Park on route. Spend the rest of the day exploring the town. Spend the evenings in one of the restaurants and enjoy meeting fellow travelers from around the world. The management at O Lar Do Ouro will arrange any excursion you would like to do, be it any water sports, Whale watching, Paragliding or a visit to the Maputo Special Reserve. All extra mural activities can be booked in advance of your visit, by the Lodge. If you are a keen underwater sea photographer, go no further, you will be astounded. After a lazy breakfast and partaking in one more beach activity and swim. Take a last lingering look at paradise before preparing for your road trip to Maputo International Airport for your air transfer.
