OVERVIEW

In 3 days you will visit the Chobe National Park in Botswana, see the worlds largest elephant population & the Big 5. Included is a 4×4 safari with professional rangers and a river boat safari on the Chobe. A guided tour of the Victoria Falls, the world’s most majestic & stand where Livingstone first gazed upon this amazing spectacle of nature, which is one of the world’s 7 natural wonder’s. Also included is a sunset cruise on the mighty and mysterious Zambezi. Bring your binoculars & camera.

Day 1

Victoria Falls & the Mighty Zambezi River Sunset River Cruise
On arrival at the Victoria Falls International Airport in Zimbabwe you will be taken taken to your lodge situated near the Falls. Relax & absorb the atmosphere in this piece of paradise in the heart of Africa, while enjoying a light lunch (optional), before departing for your late afternoon sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi river. See the wildlife on the river bank. In the evening, while enjoying sun downers around the pool, in the lush tropical gardens of your lodge, watch as the star filled night night surrounds you & come’s alive as the sounds of Africa begin their nightly chorus, take in the wonder & magic of this vibrant continent, our home of which we are so passionate about. Count the number of shooting stars you will see.


Time to enjoy a fine meal whilst soaking up the African bush. Bon Appétit!

Day 2

Chobe National Park 4×4 Safari & Safari River Cruise (Botswana)
Departing early this morning (breakfast packs will be provided) you cross the border into Botswana & continue onto Chobe National Park. You will tour Chobe in a safari vehicle, guided by a ranger, this is one of Africa’s great game reserves. The park is home to the world’s largest herds of Elephant. There are Buffalo, wild dog & the big cats, Cheetah, Leopard & Lion. A sighting of the elusive Leopard is an experience never to be forgotten. In the afternoon, you partake on a safari river cruise on the Chobe River experiencing Africa at her best – the river, the wildlife and the sunset!


Here you’ll get up close to Hippo, Crocodile & an unforgettable array of water birds. See the glory of Africa’s wildlife as it converges along the water front in the afternoon.
In the late afternoon you return to Victoria Falls. I recommend that you enjoy your final evening at The Boma Dinner & Drum Show with a delicious 4 course traditional dinner followed by an interactive African drumming experience.

Day 3

Victoria Falls National Park (guided walk of the falls)
After an early breakfast you depart for your tour of the nearby Victoria Falls, you will be guided by a very experienced Park Ranger. Named by the explorer David Livingstone, after Queen Victoria in 1855, who said “It must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight” For millennia it has been known by Africans as Mosi-oa-Tunya “the smoke that thunders”Get ready for an amazing experience, for, everything about this remarkable wonder of nature is the biggest, largest & most inspiring in the world. Ask your guide to point out the Devils Pool on the edge of the Falls on the Zambian side. There could be some adrenaline junkies swimming in it. The “Vic” Falls as they are known is one of the great natural sights of the world anybody will ever see. Viewing spots have been maintained in their natural state. Please be careful.
Important: You will get soaked by the spray. Inexpensive disposal raincoats are sold at the gate.
