OVERVIEW
Kariega is an affordable luxury safari lodge in South Africa’s ecologically & culturally significant Eastern Cape Province. If you have extra time, we recommend you spend it on the beautiful Eastern Cape coast, Kenton on Sea perhaps. Day 1
Kariega private game reserve – on safari
Upon arrival at Port Elizbeth airport you shall be transferred to the luxurious Kariega Game Reserve. You have the choice to enjoy a bush walk, a spa treatment, go canoeing, have a swim, or just relax. In the afternoon savor the flavors of a delicious lunch before departing on the afternoon/sunset game drive. Return to the lodge for your evening meal in either the Boma or restaurant (weather dependent). The reserve is situated in the beautiful Eastern Cape, between Kariega and Bushman’s rivers. It is a great South African safari destination. Perhaps you would like to include a Garden Route tour with us, starting in Cape Town and finishing upon your arrival at Kariega (or the other way, finishing in Cape Town)?

Day 2
Kariega Game Lodge – on safari
You rise early for tea, coffee and a snack and then depart for a sunrise game drive. After an exciting early morning safari you will return to the lodge for a hearty brunch. Take a trip down the Bushmen’s river to the coast where you enjoy a bush walk, go fishing or canoeing, have a swim, a spa treatment or just relax before you sit down to savor the flavors of our well earned afternoon eats. Later in the evening you will depart for an evening game drive, enjoying sun-downers along the way before returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3
Morning safari > Port Elizabeth airport (or Kenton on Sea)
You rise early, enjoy some tea, coffee and a snack and then take off for your last sunrise game drive in the park. After the drive you return to the lodge for brunch. You then check-out and take a trip down the Bushman’s River to enjoy a bush walk, go fishing or canoeing, have a swim, a spa treatment, or just relax. In the afternoon you depart for Port Elizabeth Airport and your onward journey home. If you would like to extend your safari and/or enjoy the stunning beaches in Kenton -on –
sea, which is close to the game reserve, we here to help.
NB: Whilst in Southern Africa, during, after or even before your tour we shall offer you our discounted rates on optional activities. They include: Helicopter flips, Hot air ballooning, Whale cruises, Shark cage diving, Surf lessons, Diving, Guided hikes and more.
