Enjoy the slow 38km. Ferry ride from Maputo to Inhaca Island. On arrival at Inhaca Island you will be met and taken to Nahyeeni Lodge, its gorgeous. There are many water sports on offer, try the spa to rid yourself of city fatigue. Nahyeeni have canoes for your use, do it. Visiting Santa Torres is a laid back adventure passing sleepy villages as the skipper of your boat navigates the channels, to the marine park for your dream under water snorkeling experience. The ambiance of Nahyeeni might just tempt you to forgo any activities at all and allow you to just luxuriate in its island magnificence. The food is wonderful, dining under tropical night skies and listening to the gentle lapping waves of the ocean is as good for the soul as it is romantic. A sunset cruise is a must. I always refer to the Mozambique coast and Inhaca Island as one of the last places of paradise on our over explored earth. All water sports excluded. Have an ocean swim or a long beach walk to soak up and store the memories of a wonderful couple of days on Inhaca Island. Before arriving at your ferry for your return to Maputo, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch (optional) at the poolside of Nahyeni Lodge take as many photos as you can for the folks back home.
